	Jean Duncan had been working for the Don Winters Co. in 1973 (who was only the second broker in Atlanta) when Mr. Winters suddenly passed away and the business closed. She continued dealing with all her former clients and founded Jean D. Duncan Customs Brokers in 1974. Those few customers became word of mouth advertisers for the company, and Jean D. Duncan Customs Brokers has since experienced phenomenal growth in our thirty-year plus history. We have received client recommendations from the furthest corners of the globe, including some rather unusual ones- a small Indian grocery in Mumbai, and a Japanese freight forwarding consortium. The brokers at Jean D. Duncan have over 70 years of experience, and pride themselves on the quality of their services and dedication to detail. Our brokers transmitted the first ABI (Automated Broker Interface) entry in the Port of Atlanta, and this required state-of-the-art electronics capability.
